Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll (2025)
2025 OUTDOOR (FRESHMAN)
- Tossed a personal-best long 14.13 meters (46-4.25) in the shot put at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate.
- Hurled a PR 35.42 meters (116-2), placing third in the hammer throw at the Don Kirby Tailwind Twilight.
- Finished seventh in the discus with a PR 51.38 meters (168-7) at the CUSA OTF Championships.
2025 INDOOR (FRESHMAN)
- Did not see action during the indoor season.
PRIOR TO UTEP
- Tossed a personal-best 183-9 in the discus to finish second at the 2024 UIL State Championships while competing at Klein Forest High School.
- Posted a mark of 168-2.5 in the discus to win the 2024 UIL 6A 15/16 Area Meet.
- Won the discus at the UIL 6A-District, Klein ISD Relays, Cain Relays and Sand & Yates Relays.
- Turned a PR mark of 48-6, placing third in the shot put at the UIL 6A-District 15 meet.
- Won the discus title at the 2023 UIL District 15-6A Championships.
PERSONAL: Xavier Daniel Westmoreland is the son of Maurice Westmoreland and Meka Harrison ... has one brother and two sisters ... brother Maurice "Mo" played football and competed with the UTEP track team for three seasons (2022-24) ... born in Houston ... also played basketball at Klein Forest High School.
