UTEP Miners

Decker Smith is in his fifth year as the video coordinator for the UTEP women's basketball program. 

Smith played basketball at the University of Dallas in 2011-12 before transferring to UTEP. He started 16 contests and was a part of the first team in program history to qualify for the SCAC Tournament.

Previously he graduated from Franklin High School in El Paso, Texas. He was an All-District and All-City performer. 

Smith has his bachelor's degree in communication from UTEP and is currently working on a master's degree in leadership studies. His favorite sport is ice hockey.
