2010 (FRESHMAN): Saw action in 22of 33 sets for the Miners making four starts ... tallied 77 digs (1.40 per set) including a career-high 17 against SMU (11/12) ... also contributed 14 assists and eight aces for the Miners.

2009: Redshirted ... named to Conference USA Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time All-District Second Team ... earned 2008 Academic All-State honors ... named to the 2008 1-5A Academic All-District ... played club with the El Paso Sun Spots under UTEP assistant coach Angela Mooney from 2004 to 2009 reaching the Junior Olympics three times in five years and winning the Sun Country Region in 2007 and 2009.

PERSONAL: Full name is Ashley Taylor Noelle Mullens ... daughter of Dwight and Isabel Mullens ... cousin Catherine Chavez also played for the Miners (2006-09) ... born in El Paso, Texas, on December 1, 1990.
