PRIOR TO UTEP: Played in eight matches, while starting five (19 sets played) at UIW in 2018 … registered 24.0 points, 19 kills, five digs, a pair of assists and 10 block assists … recorded a season-high five kills, while scoring a season best 6.5 points versus UTEP … an El Paso native, played at El Paso High School prior to collegiate career … a two-time district MVP and an all-state honorable mention selection with the Tigers.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Michael and Kristin Perez … has two brothers … father, uncle and aunt all played collegiate sports … born in El Paso, Texas … named the El Paso High School Most Outstanding Biology and Mathematics student and was twice named Most Outstanding Foreign Language student.
