UTEP Miners

Kayleigh Roberts joined the UTEP Sports Medicine team as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in March of 2023. Her primary responsibility is the health care and rehabilitation of the indoor volleyball team.

Before coming to UTEP, Roberts spent two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Newman University working with women's soccer, volleyball, basketball and softball. She accompanied the women's basketball team to the conference tournament.

Roberts graduated from Emporia State University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Athletic Training. She then attended Newman University where she obtained her Master's degree in Healthcare Administration in 2022.

Roberts gained additional experience with Newman University and Wichita Collegiate High School in Wichita, Kansas.

Roberts is a native of Douglass, Kan. and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association.
