Originally from Indiana, Kaison Ames joined the UTEP Sports Medicine staff in May of 2026 after spending the previous three years working as the head football athletic trainer at Lindsey Wilson University.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at Indiana State University in 2021 while being a student-athlete before completing a Master of Science in Athletic Training in 2023.
He is passionate about injury prevention, rehabilitation, and helping student-athletes stay healthy so they can perform at their best both on and off the field.
Outside of athletics, Kaison enjoys spending time with his dog, cooking, golfing, and playing basketball. He is excited to be part of the UTEP community and looks forward to supporting Miner student athletes.
