Kyle Beyer

Kyle Beyer will begin his second season with the UTEP football staff. Beyer will coach the spurs in 2025. He was hired on March 28, 2024.

Beyer served as the lead defensive analyst for the Miners in 2024.

He ventured to the Sun City after gaining a plethora of experience between Indiana Wesleyan and most recently Roosevelt University.
 
He was the defensive coordinator at Roosevelt University in 2023, leading a unit that had eight players garner All-Conference recognition. He also implemented a new defensive scheme.
 
From the Fall of 2018 through Spring of 2023, Beyer worked in multiple capacities at Indiana Wesleyan. He served as cornerbacks coach (2018), linebackers coach (Spring 2019-Spring 2022), special teams coordinator (Spring 2019-Spring 2022) and defensive coordinator (Spring 2022-Spring 2023).
 
Overall, he has coached 29 All-Conference selections and six All-Americans on both defense and special teams. Indiana Wesleyan advanced to the NAIA Final Four in 2022. His defenses have been known for high pressure, forcing 57 takeaways and registering 67 sacks in his two seasons as defensive coordinator. 
 
Beyer was a four-year starter and served as a captain at free safety for NCAA DIII Grove City College from 2014-17. He received his B.S. in elementary education, preK-4 from the university in May 2018.
