Mark Brunner will enter 2025-26 in his 20th year as a member of the UTEP Athletics Strategic Communications department. He serves as the primary sport contact for men's basketball and soccer (second stint) and as the secondary contact for football. The Mentor, Ohio, native previously was the women's basketball, rifle, soccer and tennis contact.
Brunner joined UTEP after earning his master’s degree from the University of Tennessee. He also holds an undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University.
Brunner and his wife Sandi reside in West El Paso with their two pugs, Patch and Mocha.
