Michelle Calderon Gomez joined the UTEP Athletics staff as Accountant II for the Miner Athletic Club in September of 2022.
Calderon Gomez previously worked in Institutional Advancement at UTEP from 2014-22.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Management from the University of Phoenix in 2021. She earned a Master's in Business Administration with a Certification in Finance from the University of Phoenix in 2023.
Calderon Gomez and her husband, Joe, have two daughters - Stephanie, who attends UTEP, and Makenzie, who attends El Paso Community College.
