Ryan Cosper joined UTEP Athletics and the Taymar Sales U team as the General Manager of Ticket Sales and Operations in September 2026. In his role, Cosper oversees ticket sales and operations for UTEP’s six ticketed sports.
A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Cosper joined UTEP after serving as the Director of Ticket Sales at the University of New Mexico from February 2025 through August 2026. During his time with the Lobos, he helped lead UNM football to the highest year-over-year increase in attendance in the NCAA and helped the Lobo men’s basketball program lead the Mountain West in average attendance.
Prior to joining UNM, Cosper worked in Ticket Sales and Service with the Valero Alamo Bowl from July 2024 through January 2025. During his time with the Alamo Bowl, he helped the organization achieve the highest-attended game in Alamo Bowl history, as well as the highest attendance for a non-CFP bowl game of the 2024 season.
Cosper graduated from West Texas A&M University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He was also a wide receiver for the Buffaloes for two seasons after beginning his collegiate football career as a wide receiver at the University of New Mexico.
