Sean Huereque, an El Paso native, joined UTEP Athletics and Taymar Sales U as an Account Executive in June of 2025. With a lifelong passion for sports and a deep connection to the El Paso community, Huereque is dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships and enhancing the fan experience at UTEP athletic events.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Texas Tech University in December of 2023. During his academic career, he gained valuable experience through internships that prepared him to serve UTEP effectively. As a Golf Operations Associate with the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, Huereque managed youth golf tournaments nationwide, developing strong organizational and community engagement skills. He also served as a Ticket Operations and Sales Associate with the Cleburne Railroaders, where he contributed to seamless game-day experiences by building partnerships with fans and community members. Additionally, he worked as an Athletic Ticket Office Student Assistant at Texas Tech, refining his expertise in ticket operations and customer service.
Committed to advancing UTEP Athletics’ mission, Huereque brings professionalism and local pride to his role, ensuring every Miner fan feels connected to the program. Outside of work, he enjoys watching basketball, watching movies, and snowboarding when time permits.
