UTEP Miners

Tino Gamueda was appointed as a graduate assistant for the UTEP soccer program in July 2026. He will also serve as the goalkeeper coach for the Miners.

He has an extensive background, serving as the goalkeeper coach for the University of Dallas men’s soccer team from 2017-26. He also worked with the women’s team the past year.

Gamueda was the director of goalkeeping for the Texas Spurs UPSL Premier (2019-20) and was the goalkeeper coach for Sting Royal ECNL (2020-24).

Prior to working with the program, he starred on the pitch as a GK from 2013-16. He tied for the school shutout record for both individual season and career total and was an all-conference honoree. He was also named the defensive player of the week twice and helped his school knock off No. 1 Trinity University after posting a clean sheet.

He later played for the Texas Spurs (2019-22) UPSL Premier, winning the division in 2021.
