COLUMBUS, Ohio.- The UTEP rifle team wrapped up its two-day stay in the "Buckeye State" by falling to Ohio State, 4685-4583, on Sunday.
Sophomore
Bailey Powell fired a career-high aggregate of 1169 to set the tone for the Miners. She used a the second-best career score (578) in smallbore and a season-high 591 in air rifle to achieve the feat.
Freshman
Jessica Boyce compiled an aggregate of 1144. She shot a 559 in smallbore before firing a career-high 585 in air rifle.
Sophomore
Abby Monique recorded an aggregate of 1140. She posted a score of 561 in smallbore while shooting a season-high 579 in air rifle.
Freshman
Samantha Miller finished with an aggregate of 1133. She matched her second-best score (559)in smallbore while also notching her second-highest total (574) in air rifle.
Junior
Maranda Nelson registered an aggregate of 1127. She finished with 562 in smallbore and 565 in air rifle.
Sophomore
Mara Rouse registered an aggregate of 1127. She notched a score of 560 in smallbore and 567 in air rifle.
UTEP will be back in action when it competes at TCU on Saturday.
