EL PASO – Casey Hogan has been named Associate Athletic Director for Development at UTEP.

"We are super excited to welcome Casey and his family to El Paso," Senior Associate Athletic Director for Revenue Generation Charley Thrash said. "He is a perfect fit for our team and will play a crucial part in continuing to enhance and grow the athletic department from a fundraising standpoint."

Hogan comes to the Sun City after serving as Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Operations at Tarleton State University since June 2021, while he also served as Assistant Athletic Director for External Operations with the Texans from February 2019 through May 2021.

While at UTEP, Hogan will direct, coordinate and implement fundraising initiatives and will carry a major gift portfolio for The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) Department of Athletics.

"UTEP is a special place with a rich tradition of excellence on-and-off the field of competition," Hogan said. "I look forward to working with our fans, staff and donors to give our student-athletes the resources they need to compete on the field, court, course and most importantly the classroom. Go Miners!"

While at Tarleton, Hogan provided oversight and leadership for the marketing, revenue generation, ticketing and broadcasting areas in the athletics department. His efforts helped generate over $290,000 in revenue from custom advertising packages in 2020-2021. Hogan also led negotiations with the North Texas Ford Dealers that resulted in a six-year, $555,000 advertising agreement, the largest in Tarleton State University history.

Hogan served as the liaison between Tarleton Athletics and its ticket and sponsorship sales partner, The Aspire Group. Hogan coordinated the marketing efforts for the 15K campaign that led to a new Tarleton and Western Athletic Conference (FCS) attendance record 16,216 fans for Tarleton's football game on Oct. 23, 2021. His efforts increased football attendance by 4,240 fans in one season after implementing a new digital marketing and season ticket sales campaign. Previously, Hogan served as Assistant Athletic Director for Development at Tarleton State from September 2012 through July 2016. Hogan worked alongside the Athletic Director to cultivate a donor who became the largest in the history of Tarleton Athletics.

Hogan received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Tarleton State in December, 2007. He went on to earn a Master's of Science in Athletic Administration in December, 2020 from Tarleton.

Hogan was a Stephenville City Council member (2013-15), while his broadcasting stint resulted in him being named the Lone Star Conference Broadcaster of the Year (2013-14). He also served on the Stephenville Economic Development Association (SEDA) Board of Directors (2020-22), as Student Body President at Tarleton (2005-07) and 2003-04 National FFA Western Region Vice President of the National FFA Organization.
