UTEP Football Fan Day Slated for Saturday, Aug. 20

EL PASO, Texas – The 2022 edition of "UTEP Football Fan Day" will be held on Saturday, Aug. 20 from 10:30 am-12 pm in the North concourse of Sun Bowl Stadium.  Admission is free.

The UTEP football coaching staff and student-athletes will be on hand to sign autographs, and 2022 schedule posters will be given away while supplies last.  There will be fun and games for the entire family, and the UTEP Bookstore will sell Miner gear.  Miner Kids Club members can also pick up their welcome packets at Fan Day (for more information visit www.UTEPMiners.com/KidsClub).

The Miners open the 2022 season one week later (Aug. 27) against North Texas in the Sun Bowl. Just over 7,000 tickets remain for the game.  Capacity is 45,971 in the Sun Bowl, and the Miners are trying to sell out a game in the venue for the first time since 2008.  To purchase tickets, visit www.UTEPMiners.tickets.  Tickets will also be sold at UTEP Football Fan Day.
