The I-10 Rivalry Giving Challenge is Back!

EL PASO, Texas — The I-10 Rivalry Giving Challenge returns for the 100th football matchup between UTEP and NM State! The giving challenge is a united endeavor benefiting both UTEP and NM State student-athletes, while encouraging friendly competition between the two fan bases.

The Miners will host the Aggies on Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. in the Sun Bowl. The I-10 Rivalry Giving Challenge begins on Wednesday, October 11, and will conclude at midnight following the football game.

This year's contributions will be allocated to the UTEP Athletics Scholarship Fund and will directly support the funding of student-athlete scholarships. Scholarships for Miner student-athletes (over 330 total) remain the largest annual expense incurred by UTEP Athletics.
Last year UTEP fell short in the giving challenge to NMSU. This year fans can help the Miners secure a victory both on and off the field by providing a $50 donation which counts as one point for the Miners. The goal is to hit 200 points.
