EL PASO, Texas – Keith King has been named Assistant Athletic Director for Miner Vision at UTEP, Vice President and Director of Athletics Jim Senter announced on Wednesday.  King will begin his duties at UTEP on Tuesday, Feb. 7, following over four years as Roadrunners Sports Video Producer at UTSA.  He will be a member of the UTEP Athletics Senior Staff.

"We are thrilled to add Keith to our External Relations team," Senter said.  "He will be filling a critical role for us, as we look to increase the quantity and quality of our in-house ESPN productions in coming years.  It certainly helps that he has been in Conference USA and understands the expectations associated with the league's new multimedia rights deal.  He also comes highly recommended at the conference level and will play a vital role in telling the stories of our student-athletes and sports programs."

"I look forward to helping share the amazing stories of our student-athletes here at UTEP," King said.  "I am honored to join a committed staff in helping continue to build UTEP into a successful University on and off the field."

King produced all broadcast content for CUSA.tv, ESPN+ and ESPN3 while working with UTSA Athletics.  In this capacity, he managed the hiring of announcers and freelance workers for all in-house ESPN productions.  He also managed the development of the broadcast studio and production upgrades at various sports venues on campus.  King pursued and executed collaborative opportunities between UTSA Athletics, campus and outside vendors.

Prior to his stint at UTSA, served as a Production and Media Manager for Niles Media Group from 2011-18.  He coordinated with clients on all production elements, graphics and commercial inventory for live and taped productions.  He also provided game-day support for live production mobile units at various sporting events.
