UTEP XC to Compete at Dave Murray Friday Morning

EL PASO, Texas – The UTEP cross country team will compete in its third meet of the season when the Miners run at the Dave Murray Invitational hosted by the University of Arizona at Randolph Golf Course in Tucson on Friday morning.

The competition begins at 7 a.m. MST with the men's 8k and will conclude with the women's 6k at 7:45 a.m. MST. This year's event will be held at the Randolph Golf Course, differing from last year's location and course.

UTEP will compete against host Arizona, Arizona State, Grand Canyon, NM State, Northern Arizona and UNLV.

Competing on the women's side Ruth Jerubet, Joan Kimaiyo, Vallary Kiplagat, Salma Licon, Alexa Rangel, and Elise Wilcher.

Running for the men are Titus Cheruiyot, Victor Kibiego, Juan Olmos, Kenneth Talavera, Alejandro Tarin, and Angel Torres.
