LINCOLN, Nebraska – The No. 15 UTEP rifle team turned in an impressive showing against No. 13 Nebraska, firing a 4672 aggregate score on Saturday. The Cornhuskers led the match with a 4720 aggregate.
UTEP was led by Kameron Wells, who tied her own program record with an aggregate score of 1179—marking the second time she has hit this milestone. Wells also paced the Miners in both the smallbore and air rifle disciplines
Following Wells, Carlee Valenta posted an aggregate score of 1169, with Isabella Ríos close behind at 1165. Ríos achieved a personal best in smallbore. Amy Visconti added an 1158, while Holly Visconti recorded an 1156, and Paige Hildebrandt rounded out the team's performance with an aggregate personal best of 1152.
