Coach Scotty Walden to Sign Autographs at UTEP Bookstore on April 18; Miner Football “Culture” T-Shirts Going on Sale

EL PASO, Texas – UTEP Football Coach Scotty Walden will have an autograph signing at the UTEP Bookstore on Thursday, April 18 from 1:30-3 pm. Three new "Culture" t-shirts promoting an exciting new era of Miner Football will also go on sale at the UTEP Bookstore on April 18.

The UTEP Bookstore is located at 2201 Sun Bowl Drive.

The t-shirts are $15 each:

BLUE BLAZE. "The Blue Blaze is our offense," Walden said. "We are going to have the fastest and most dynamic offense in the country."

ORANGE SWARM. "The Orange Swarm is our defense," Walden said. "We are going to hunt and hit the ball carrier."

WIN THE WEST. "We want to win El Paso first – win our community," Walden said. "Then we want to win West Texas. And after that, we want to branch out and become one of the most prominent Group of Five programs in the country."

The UTEP Bookstore is also selling UTEP jerseys and footballs.

The bookstore signing will come two days before the Miners' annual Orange vs. Blue Spring Game on Saturday, April 20 at 10 am in the Sun Bowl. Tickets are $5 and are available by visiting www.UTEPMiners.com/Tickets or by calling (915) 747-UTEP.

"There is a lot of anticipation for the 2024 UTEP football season," Campus Store Manager Xochitl Meyer said. "We are thrilled to welcome coach Walden to the bookstore and unveil a series of super cool t-shirts right before the Spring Game!"
