New Season of “UTEP Football with Scotty Walden” Radio Show Debuts Wednesday at DeadBeach Brewery

EL PASO, Texas – The new season of "UTEP Football with Scotty Walden" Radio Show will debut on Wednesday, August 26, at DeadBeach Brewery (3200 Durazno Avenue) from 6-7 p.m. Fans are encouraged to attend for great food, fun, and football!

This week's show will air in its entirety on 600 AM ESPN following the El Paso Chihuahuas' doubleheader on Wednesday. Fans can also listen on the UTEP Miners app during the season.

Host "Voice of the UTEP Miners" Jon Teicher is back for his 46^th season as UTEP's play-by-play man. During the season, "Teich" and third-year UTEP Head Coach Scotty Walden will review the previous week's contest and preview the upcoming games. Times are subject to change during the season.

THE 2026 SEASON
The Miners kick off the new campaign at No. 10/9 Oklahoma on Friday, September 4, at 6:00 p.m. MDT/7 CT on SEC+ Network. Fans can tune into 95.5 KLAQ and hear the action from "The Voice of the Miners" Jon Teicher and former UTEP Coach Aaron Price, while Mando Medina will report from the sidelines.
