2017 C-USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll

2018 (SOPHOMORE): Made seven starts in the circle, while making 25 appearances … posted three wins with a save … tossed 50.1 innings with 34 strikeouts … started against no. 3 Oregon, throwing a season-high 4.0 frames … part of UTEP’s seventh no-hitter and first combined no-hit effort in program history against New Mexico on Feb. 17, threw 3.0 innings, while earning first victory of 2018 … earned second win in as many games at UNLV, throwing another 3.0 frames in a relief appearance … earned save against Idaho State during a 3.0-inning relief appearance (Feb. 23) … tossed 2.2 innings in a relief appearance to earn third win of season against LA Tech (May 5).

2017 (FRESHMAN): Made 23 appearances with nine starts in the circle … led pitching staff with five wins … tossed 61.0 innings with a pair of complete games and a save … ranked second on staff with 42 strikeouts … registered 10 assists and four putouts … earned first collegiate victory against Siena in a complete game (5.0 innings) effort, including a career-high seven Ks and allowing three hits and one earned run … threw 5.1 frames during a victory at rival NM State (3/1) [first win in Las Cruces vs. Aggies since 2010]; added five strikeouts in the win … defeated Wichita State (3/5) in a 5.1-inning outing, allowing only three hits and one run … earned fourth win of season at New Mexico, pitching 1.2 innings and striking out a trio of Lobos … earned a save in first game of series against Middle Tennessee (3/18); chalked up a victory against the Blue Raiders (3/19) in the last game of the series, hurling 4.0 frames and striking out a pair … registered five strikeouts and no walks in 3.2 innings of work against NM State (3/28).

2016 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted.

PRIOR TO UTEP: Played three seasons on the varsity team at Santiago High School … forged a 6-2 record with a 2.74 ERA and 40 strikeouts in 38.1 innings during senior campaign … made six starts and 11 appearances … efforts helped Sharks fashion a 28-4 record, including an undefeated mark (10-0) in league play … pitched a season-high 6.2 innings and struck out a season-best 10 hitters, while earning the victory over El Dorado … allowed one hit in 4.2 frames, while fanning six during a shutout win over Patriot … threw 4.1 innings, tallied six Ks and allowed one hit during a win over Canyon … assembled a 17-5 mark with a 2.28 ERA, 126 Ks and 39 walks in 122.2 innings during career at Santiago … tallied a career-high 12 strikeouts in 7.0 innings during a win over Chino Hills during junior season ... club team was the Corona Angels coached by Kim Howard.
