C-USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll (2018 & 2019)

2019 (SENIOR):
Appeared in 28 games and made 22 starts … posted five victories and 10 complete games … threw 109.0 innings in the circle … amassed a team-high 89 strikeouts, and posted a .239 opponent batting average … posted five or more strikeouts on eight different occasions … recorded six hits at the plate with a home run and two RBIs … smacked two hits and an RBI against Weber State (2/15), while also striking out five batters in the circle … hit a dinger and produced six strikeouts against Idaho State (2/22) … threw a complete-game victory against UAB (3/30), and fanned four batters in the process … carried a no-hit bid 6.1 innings at New Mexico, while also striking out a career-high 12 batters (the most by a UTEP pitcher since 2010) … threw a career-high 9.1 innings (fourth most in UTEP history) at LA Tech, striking out five and surrendering only two earned runs … earned final win of the year, tossing 6.1 innings on 138 pitches with six punch outs to defeat FAU (4/19).

2018 (JUNIOR): Completed first full collegiate season, starting in 23 games (40 appearances) in the circle and 11 starts at the designated player position … led pitching staff in wins (nine) and appearances, while tallying 92 K’s in 134.1 inning thrown … recorded five complete games and was part of four shutouts, including a pair of complete-game shutouts … in the batter’s box, registered 12 hits with 11 RBI, two doubles and two home runs … added four runs and six walks … recorded eight RBI, two home runs and a pair of doubles in league only games … defensively, recorded 42 assists and four putouts from the circle … earned first collegiate win against Saint Mary’s College (Feb. 10), throwing 4.1 innings during a combined shutout … part of UTEP’s seventh no-hitter and first combined no-hit effort in program history against New Mexico on Feb. 17, tossing 2.0 frames … second career win came against South Dakota, throwing 2.0 innings to earn the victory … recorded first complete-game shutout during a 9-0 [5] run-rule win against Idaho State (Feb. 24) … set career high in innings thrown with a complete-game effort during a 1-0 victory against East Carolina in Honolulu (UTEP’s first ever win in Hawai’i) – tallied five K’s in the process … won first Conference USA game during a come-from-behind victory at WKU … threw 6.0 frames and recorded a career-high six K’s against North Texas (April 14) to earn a game one win … tallied ninth win of season in series finale against the Mean Green, tossing a complete-game effort (April 15) … first collegiate hit came on a two-run single against Portland State (Feb. 23) … tallied career-high two hits against UTSA (March 31) … hit first career home runs at WKU, the first was a two-run shot in the sixth inning of game one, while the second was a three-run blast to set career high with three RBI during the seventh when UTEP scored six runs to rally past WKU, 6-4, in game two … registered two RBI, one each, during two-game set against North Texas on April 14. 

PRIOR TO UTEP: Played first two years of collegiate softball at Fresno State … made three appearances for the Bulldogs … made a relief appearance in the circle in 2017 against San Diego, recording a strikeout … in 2016, made a pair of appearances, throwing 1.1 innings while allowing two hits and no runs … attended Christian Brothers High School as a dual-sport athlete … four-year letterwinner in both softball and basketball … earned multiple accolades in softball, including, Sacramento Bee’s 2015 All-Metro first team, Cal-Hi first team All-State, CAL All-Optimist All-Star team, MaxPreps first team All-State and Cal-Hi D3 Athlete of Honor … named Female Athlete of the Year by Character Combine, Bee Preps Show and MaxPreps Christian Brothers, while earning the Credit Union Athlete of the Week in 2015 … during senior campaign, hit .462 with 40 RBI, 11 doubles, a triple and eight home runs … went 12-7 in the circle with a 1.95 ERA while recording 195 Ks in 140 innings ... played first base and pitcher with club teams California Breeze, Capital City Comets, NorCal Patriots and CenCal DirtDogs for coaches Ralph Herrera (DirtDogs) and Rich Moore (Patriots).
