C-USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll (2018 & 2019)

2019 (SOPHOMORE): appeared in 31 games as the team’s premier pinch runner … scored seven runs on the year … crossed home plate in three consecutive pinch-running appearances to begin the season (Feb. 8-15) … registered two at-bats at Arizona (4/3) … recorded the final run of the season for the Miners against Middle Tennessee in the C-USA Tournament.

2018 (FRESHMAN): Played in 29 contests, making one start … scored eight runs, was hit by a pitch and tallied a pair of stolen bags … stole first collegiate base and scored first collegiate run during an 8-7 win at UNLV … scored three runs in the UTEP Tournament, all against Portland State … reached base after being hit by a pitch in a pinch-hit opportunity, while also crossing the dish against Portland State (Feb. 24) … scored two runs during a series sweep of North Texas … scored two more runs during a series sweep against LA Tech … registered a stolen base in game two at Southern Miss. 

PRIOR TO UTEP: Played in 32 contests during senior campaign at Canyon del Oro High School … efforts helped the Dorados win 30 games, including an 8-0 section mark and win their ninth state championship in 2017 ... teammates with current UTEP softball player Ilena Santos at Canyhon del Oro HS ... hit .279 (12-43) with five RBI, 16 runs, two stolen bags, a double and a triple as a lefty slapper … went 2-for-4 with two runs during a win against Buena (3/2) … finished 2-for-2 with a season-high three runs scored in a victory against Walden Grove … scored two runs and tallied a triple in a win versus Sunnyside (3/10) … registered season-high two RBI and crossed the dish during a triumph against Nogales (4/13) … hit .294 (5-17) in 24 games (2016) … added 15 runs and a RBI ... played outfield for club team AZ Cats Bonstrom for coaches Justice Bodman and Bruce Bonstrom. 

PERSONAL: Full name is Jordyn Michelle Quevedo … daughter of Shelley and Hector Quevedo … has one brother, Christopher and one sister, Lauren … father, grandpa (Hector), aunt (Lisa Arras), and both cousins (Alex and Robert Burciaga) all graduated from UTEP … born in El Paso … biology major … nickname is Jo.
