2018 (SOPHOMORE): Played in eight games, making one start … recorded a pair of hits, with two runs scored and a RBI … earned first career RBI the hard way after being hit by a pitch against New Mexico (April 16) with bases loaded … scored a run during a come-from-behind victory against South Dakota … registered a hit during a pinch-hit at bat, while also scoring a run against Portland State (Feb. 24) … recorded a pinch-hit single against Longwood … made a start as the designated player in game two against UAB.
2017 (FRESHMAN): Played in 16 contests, making seven starts (four starts at first base) … produced three hits and drew five walks in 23 at bats … tallied 15 putouts and four assists … picked up first collegiate hit and tallied career best in putouts (seven) and assists (three) against rival NM State (3/28); recorded another hit in game two against the Aggies … went 1-for-3 and drew a walk in a win at Incarnate Word (4/3).
HANKS HIGH SCHOOL: Led Hanks and ranked third in District 2-5A with a .554 batting average (51-for-92) in 29 games played at Hanks High School, while also leading the squad in hits, runs scored (41), doubles (15) and tied for the team lead in home runs (five)…ranked second on the team in RBI (37) and ranked third in triples (three)…named to El Paso Times’ All-City second team…efforts helped Knights to a 20-11 overall record with a 9-5 district mark and an appearance in the bi-district playoffs…tied career high on a season-best six RBI on a 2-for-3 performance that included a double and triple in a win over MacArthur (2/25)…recorded four RBI on a 4-for-4 day with three doubles and three runs during a victory over Irvin (2/20)…in 2015 (junior season), named to El Paso Times’ All-City first team after hitting .464 with 11 home runs and 61 RBI…overall during career (110 games), hit .534 (188-for-352) with 23 home runs, 48 doubles, seven triples, 13 stolen bases, 147 runs and 166 RBI ... club team was the El Paso Firecrackers coached by Chris Estrada.
