2023 (JUNIOR/SENIOR): Had 22 pitching appearances with 5 starts … posted a 6.65 ERA with 38 strikeouts in 47.1 innings… had a .917 fielding percentage with 1 putout and ten assists. Second on the team in Strikeouts with 38. Had her best performance against A&M Corpus Christi where she pitched 6 innings holding the Islanders to 2 runs on six hits and four strike outs.  

On January 19th, Mackenzee Collins was recognized by the College Football Playoff Foundation and Dr Pepper as an outstanding student-athlete pursuing her degree in education. Because of her commitment to becoming an educator, Mackenzee was awarded a $2,500 tuition grant to be used toward her degree. As a part of the Extra Yard for Teachers Go Teach Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway program, one student-athlete from each conference is chosen as a grand prize winner and receives an additional $10,000 in tuition funds. The foundation announced that Mackenzee had been chosen as the Conference USA grand prize recipient...totaling her tuition grant to $12,500.

2022 (SOPHOMORE): Made 20 appearances with five starts with a 2-6 record … posted a 6.27 ERA with 21 strikeouts in 48.0 innings … had a .667 fielding percentage with six assists on nine catches 

2021 (FRESHMAN): Started 15 games for the Miners while making seven relief appearances ... finished the season with a 3-9 record and 7.47 ERA ... recorded the first win of her career in a complete game with no earned runs allowed against Northern Colorado (2/19) ... held Texas Tech in check in her relief appearance to only one run in 2.2 innings pitched to help the Miners to their 9-8 upset victory over the Red Raiders (3/20) ... sent down 16 batters over 60 innings of work this season.

2019-20 (COLORADO STATE): Redshirted at Colorado State during the 2019 season … did not see action with the Rams in 2020.

SOUTH WHIDBEY HS: Tossed 137.2 innings with a 2.09 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP during the 2018 season at South Whidbey High School … opposing hitters only batted .193 … averaged 2.06 strikeouts per inning (14 per 7.0 innings) … achieved over 300 Ks in both junior and senior seasons … three-time captain … three-time first team all-conference … named 2017 and 2018 Cascade Conference Defensive Player of the Year … 2018 first team All-Area … club team: Absolute Blast 18u Gold.
