Kaitlin Fifield is in her first year as an assistant coach with UTEP Softball in 2020 after serving as a graduate assistant coach in 2019.
The El Paso native played her collegiate career at UTEP under Coach Tobin Echo-Hawk from 2014-17. Her place on the diamond was in the circle, where she earned 24 victories and struck out 215 batters for the Orange and Blue. She threw the second-most saves (5) and third-most victories (24) in program history. Fifield received her bachelor’s degree in Education in 2017.

Fifield threw UTEP’s sixth no-hitter all-time versus Texas A&M-CC (2/27/16), striking out nine batters with only one base runner in seven hitless innings of work.
