EMPIRE HS: Montgomery was a four-year letterwinner and ended her senior season hitting .452. She helped the team to a 19-11 record as a freshman and a regional championship. During her high school career she earned multiple awards, such as First Team Sports 360, 2x All-Academic, First Team All-Region, Southern Arizona Futures All-Star, Class 5A/6A All-Star Second Team, EXOS Select 50 All-American, Second Team All-Region, and All-Southern Arizona Freshman Second Team.
