Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll (2023)

2023 (JUNIOR):
made 14 appearances with 4 starts with a 2-5 record … posted a 7.68 ERA with 16 strikeouts in 27.1 innings … had a .875 fielding percentage with 7 assists

2022 (GRAYSON COLLEGE): Threw 23.2 innings in 2022 season. However, she did most of her damage at the plate, batting .407 in 140 at-bats while bashing 19 homers with 61 RBI.

2020-21 (VIRGINIA TECH): As a freshman, Hewitt debuted a 6-1 record over her nine starts and one relief appearance totaling 40.1 innings of work. Hewitt posted a 2.08 ERA and sent down 37 batters on strikes while allowing only six extra-base hits. Her first season in Blacksburg earned her Virginia Sports Information Director (VaSID) Rookie of the Year honors. She proved able to work late into games turning in four outings of five innings or more. Hewitt has two ranked opponent wins underneath her belt after defeating then-No. 14 Minnesota by a score of 2-1 with a six-inning, five strikeout performance on Feb. 15, 2020, and turning around the next day to earn a win versus then-No. 21 Northwestern, 6-5. Hewitt's best performance of her Virginia Tech career came against North Carolina A&T in which she tossed the first no-hitter of her career and striking out seven batters in the process. The next day versus the College of Charleston, Hewitt threw three more shutout frames. Hewitt logged the highest single-game strikeout total (8) of her Hokie career versus the up-and-coming Campbell program and went on to earn the win on Feb. 8, 2020. Hewitt has yet to allow more than three earned runs to an opponent.

RIVERDALE HS: A two-year varsity letterwinner at Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro, Tenn., Hewitt received offers from some of the best programs in the nation in Oregon, Oklahoma State, Pitt and Virginia Tech. Hewitt was the Lady Warrior's workhorse in the circle finishing her senior season with an 8-5 record and a 1.30 ERA over 91.2 innings pitched. Hewitt held her opponents to a .127 batting average while striking out 165 batters in her 20 appearances that season to put her K/7 innings at an outstanding 12.7. As a junior, Hewitt led Riverdale (19-8) to a 6-2 District 7-AAA mark in her first season with the team after transferring from Carlsbad High School in New Mexico. Hewitt immediately became the Lady Warrior's ace with a 16-7 record, 1.27 ERA and 132 strikeouts in 120 innings of work as a junior. Hewitt was also a threat at the plate slashing .400/.500/.883 with nine home runs her senior year. Hewitt earned First-Team All District honors both years as a Lady Warrior. She was a part of being ranked in the top 10 on FloSoftball with the Gametime Stars 18U Gold squad.
