EL PASO, Texas – The UTEP tennis team will play host to Arizona at 10 a.m. MT Monday at the El Paso Tennis Club.
It will mark the second home match of the season for the Miners, who most recently drilled Western New Mexico, 7-0, in their home opener on Jan. 23.
"We are very excited to play a team like Arizona on our home courts," UTEP head coach
Ivan Fernandez said. "This is an incredible learning opportunity for us that can't be replicated in practice. I know that we will come out with energy and intensity and leave everything that we have out on the courts."
In the match against WNMU, the Orange and Blue dropped only two points combined in three doubles matches. The Miners then turned around and won all six singles matches in straight sets.
UTEP also faced Arizona in El Paso during the 2021 dual-match season.
