DALLAS – Conference USA announced Monday its final Volleyball Player of the Week honors, presented by Blenders Eyewear. UTEP's Torrance Lovesee, who had 27 kills in eight sets was named Co-Freshman of the Week.   

Lovesee named C-USA Co-Freshman of the Week 
Lovesee posted a team-high 27 kills over eight sets this week in back-to-back wins for the Miners. In UTEP's road win over UTSA, Lovesee recorded 11 kills along with four service aces and racked up 16 points for UTEP. On Saturday, UTEP defeated UAB in four sets where Lovesee recorded a match-high of 16 kills to put up 19 points in the match. Overall, she topped the UTEP roster in kills, aces (five), and points (35.0).  

This is the first time in program history that the UTEP volleyball team has closed out conference play with more than five conference Player of the Week honors. The 2012 and 2005 campaigns each produced five C-USA Players of the Week.
