EL PASO, Texas – After 25 days of competing on the road, the UTEP softball team (12-28, 2-13 Conference USA) will host Middle Tennessee (18-25, 5-10 C-USA) at the Helen of Troy Softball Complex in a three-game series that runs April 22-24.

- Middle Tennessee sits at 18-25 on the season. The Blue Raiders are led by Laura Mealer with a .354 batting average on 46 hits. She is slugging .638 with a .440 on-base percentage.
- Middle Tennessee has utilized six pitchers through its 43 games, with Gretchen Mead pitching a team-high 71.1 innings with 21 appearances and 10 starts. Mead has a 3.83 ERA with 53 strikeouts and 29 walks, 74 hits and 43 runs allowed (39 earned) and is 4-7. Corrina Dodd has thrown 71.0 innings with a 2.76 ERA and has appeared in 14 games with 12 starts. As a staff, Middle Tennessee carries a 3.89 ERA, allowing 309 hits, 198 runs (163 earned), striking out 177 and walking 109. Middle Tennessee has given up 46 home runs, 49 doubles and nine triples.
