EL PASO, Texas – The UTEP softball team (14-29, 4-14 Conference USA) will travel to Huntington, West Virginia to take on Marshall (30-13, 12-6 C-USA) in a three-game series that runs April 29 – May 1 at Dot Hicks Field.
The matchup will be streamed on ESPN+, with live stats also available.

Marshall has used four pitchers through its 43 games, with pitching standout Sydney Nester pitching a team-high 182.1 innings with 35 appearances and 27 starts. Nester has a 1.77 ERA with 250 strikeouts and 49 walks, 123 hits and 62 runs allowed (46 earned) and is 22-7. As a staff, Marshall carries a 2.73 ERA, allowing 242 hits, 137 runs (105 earned), striking out 314 and walking 83. Marshall has given up 25 home runs, 40 doubles and five triples.
