DALLAS – UTEP's Madison Hill and Serena Patterson were selected to the 10-member 2023 Conference USA Beach Volleyball All-Academic Team, the league announced Wednesday afternoon.  
 
Madison Hill | 3.93 Mechanical Engineering 
Hill joined UTEP's inaugural beach team from the indoor squad and has proved to be a powerful asset for the program as she has a team-best record of seven wins while competing over two courts this season. She had a five-match winning streak helping the Miners win three of five duals. 
 
Serena Patterson | 4.0 MA Leadership Studies 
Patterson joined UTEP's inaugural beach team from the indoor squad and has posted four wins while competing over three courts this season in the Miner's first year of beach volleyball. She recorded the program's first pair win and helped the Miners win their first dual.
