COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 16 UTEP Rifle team continued its impressive form with a 4681 aggregate performance in a competitive matchup against No. 4 Murray State, who topped the event with a 4728 aggregate. The Miners fired a 2318 in smallbore and a 2363 in air rifle.
Kameron Wells led the Miners with an all-around personal-best aggregate of 1179, which tied the program's individual record, finishing 3rd overall. Wells also placed 5th in smallbore and 5th in air rifle. Carlee Valenta followed closely with a 1172 aggregate, setting a personal best in air rifle and finishing 6th overall and 2nd in air rifle. Amy Visconti added to the strong showing with a 1170 aggregate to claim 7th overall.
Additional individual highlights included Isabella Rios with a 1160 aggregate, Holly Visconti with a 1152, and Paige Hildebrandt, who recorded personal bests in both smallbore and aggregate with a score of 1151. Xan Keel fired a 1134, and Julia Czernik tied her personal record with an aggregate score of 1131.
