EL PASO – The UTEP softball team has unveiled its 2024 fall schedule, featuring a series of competitive matchups, including local events and trips to Arizona for doubleheaders against top-tier programs. Fans will have the opportunity to catch the Miners in action at home and on the road as they prepare for the upcoming 2025 season. 

The fall season kicks off on September 28, with the Dingers 4 Dollar$ Home Run Derby at Helen of Troy Field. Following the derby, UTEP will host its first team scrimmage and will be open to the public. 

The Miners will then hit the road for a weekend series in Arizona. On October 5, UTEP will face off against Grand Canyon in a doubleheader in Phoenix. The team will remain in Arizona for a doubleheader on October 6, facing Arizona State and Phoenix College in Tempe. 

Returning to El Paso, UTEP will host New Mexico in a doubleheader on October 19. The following day, October 20, the Miners will take on Sul Ross State in another home doubleheader. 

The fall schedule will conclude with the Softball/Soccer Golf Tournament on December 6, at Horizon Golf Course, an all-day event benefiting UTEP Softball and Women's Soccer.
