UTEP Softball Season Ticket Sales Moving at Brisk Pace

EL PASO, TEXAS – Season tickets for the 2026 UTEP softball season are selling at a record pace, with first pitch a little under a month away.

To date, 160 season tickets have been sold, which is nearly 100 more than last season (64), and a record under seventh-year head coach T.J. Hubbard.

Interest in the UTEP softball program has grown with the Miners posting back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time in 15 years, and tackling an exciting home schedule this spring.

Two of the top three teams in last year's final top-25 are coming to El Paso (#2 Texas Tech, #3 Oklahoma). Texas Tech finished as the 2025 national runner-up. Oklahoma has won eight NCAA championships since 2000, including four consecutive in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Other home opponents include Power-4 foes Arizona State and Minnesota, and long-time rival New Mexico. The Miners will also host defending Conference USA champion Liberty.

"We think we're going to have an exciting team and we're looking forward to the challenges the 2026 schedule will present," Hubbard said. "Our team traditionally has fed off the energy at the Helen of Troy Complex, posting 34 home wins over the last two years. We're looking forward to making 'Club HOT' a difficult place for opponents to play again this spring!"

UTEP softball season tickets are $60 and $75. Purchasing a season ticket guarantees savings of up to 75 percent off the price of single game tickets. Single game tickets will not go on sale until February 1, and premium pricing will be in effect for the Oklahoma and Texas Tech games.

Capacity in the Helen of Troy Softball Complex is 611 fans.

The Miners will open the season by hosting back-to-back tournaments, starting with the UTEP Invitational Feb. 6-8. Oklahoma and Minnesota join the field for the Dr. Diana Natalicio Memorial Tournament Feb. 13-15.
