UTEP Cross Country Returns to Action at Texas A&M’s Arturo Barrios Invitational Oct. 17

EL PASO – UTEP Cross Country will take the course for the first time in almost three weeks when the Miners finish out the regular season at Texas A&M's Arturo Barrios Invitational on Friday morning at the Watts Cross Country Course in Bryan-College Station.

The men's 8k will start at 8:30 a.m. CT/7:30 MDT, while the women's 6k will begin at 9:15 a.m. CT/8:15 MDT.

The Miners will compete against 37 other programs that entered the meet.

Traveling for the women's squad are Isabella Campa, Praise Djoma, Peace Ewa, Bobbi Guillen, Brenda Jerop, Vallary Kiplagat and Salma Licon.

Djoma and Ewa are making their cross country debuts.

For the men, Malin Arnoldussen, Evan Avitia, Carmelo Corral, Andrés Gurrola, Juan Leal, Luis Pastor, Israel Quintana, Paul Rotich, Aron Tanui, and Nethaneel Taylor are competing on Friday.
