UTEP Track & Field Finishes Day One at the 97th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays Thursday

EL PASO – The UTEP track and field team completed day one of competition at the 97^th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on Thursday.

Loubna Benhadja came up short of advancing to the 400-meter hurdles finals, finishing 10^th of 40 competitors with a 58.37 in the prelims.

Stephen Carreto also competed in the 400 hurdles, clocking in a 54.34, the same time he turned in last week at the Willie Williams.

Aron Tanui clocked in a season-best 1:53.33 in the men's 800-meter run.
