UTEP Softball Adds Four Impact Transfers to 2026 Roster

7/10/2025 11:30:00 AM

EL PASO, Texas – UTEP Softball Head Coach T.J. Hubbard has announced the addition of four dynamic student-athletes who will join the Miners for the 2026 season. The signing class includes a standout mix of Power Four, NJCAA, and regional championship experience from across the country: Kimber Craig, Jordan Credeur, Arianna Flores, and MJ Nicholson.

Kimber Craig | INF | Lubbock, Texas | Northeast Alabama CC / Odessa College

Craig brings power and productivity to El Paso after making waves at both Odessa College and Northeast Alabama Community College. In 2025, she was named NACC Player of the Week and earned NJCAA Academic All-American honors during her time at Odessa. The former Lubbock Cooper standout shattered four school records in high school—slugging percentage (1.076), batting average (.554), opponent average (1.696), and triples (5)—while racking up a slew of honors including Texas All-State and Texas All-Star recognition. Her all-around offensive game adds a major threat to the UTEP lineup.

Jordan Credeur | INF | Georgetown, Texas | Michigan State

Credeur returns to the Lone Star State after spending her freshman campaign at Michigan State. A 2024 graduate of Georgetown High School, she was a key piece in the Eagles' run to the 2022 Texas state championship game and earned All-District honors as a junior while playing for one of the top prep programs in Texas. Though sidelined during her senior season due to injury, her athleticism and defensive versatility position her as an immediate contributor for the Miners.

Arianna Flores | RHP | Tucson, Ariz. | Pima CC

Flores adds proven depth to the Miners' pitching staff after a dominant season at Pima Community College, where she went 22-5 with a 2.16 ERA—the lowest in the ACCAC—and tallied 202 strikeouts. She earned NJCAA Division II Third Team All-American honors, was a four-time ACCAC Pitcher of the Week, and was named ACCAC DII Co-Pitcher of the Year. A graduate of Salpointe Catholic in Tucson, Flores was part of four consecutive 4A state titles and compiled a career 0.99 ERA in high school. Her championship pedigree and strikeout ability will be a huge asset in the circle.

MJ Nicholson | INF | Downingtown, Pa. | McLennan CC / Iona University

Nicholson arrives in El Paso after an explosive sophomore year at McLennan Community College, where she batted .478 with 14 home runs and 59 RBI. Her standout season earned her NFCA First Team All-American, NJCAA Region V North All-Region, and First Team All-Conference honors, as well as CSC Academic All-District and Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete awards. Nicholson began her collegiate career at Iona University and brings a potent mix of power, speed, and academic excellence.

Craig, Credeur, Flores, and Nicholson are set to join the Miners this fall and will begin preparations for the 2026 season.
