EL PASO, Texas – UTEP Softball has announced its 2025 fall schedule, highlighted by six home dates at the Helen of Troy Softball Complex, an exciting home run derby event, and matchups against regional junior colleges and NCAA opponents. 

The Miners open fall play on Friday, Oct. 3 with the Dinger$ 4 Dollar$ Home Run Derby at 3 p.m., followed by an intrasquad scrimmage at 5 p.m. Both events will be open to the public, giving fans their first look at the 2025-26 squad. 

Home action continues with a single game against Arizona Western College on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 11 a.m. UTEP will then host a tripleheader on Sunday, Oct. 5 featuring the Miners against Eastern Arizona College at 11 a.m., Sul Ross State taking on Eastern Arizona at 1:30 p.m., and UTEP closing the day versus Sul Ross at 4 p.m. 

The Miners will hit the road for their next two weekends, traveling to face I-10 rival New Mexico State in Las Cruces on Sunday, Oct. 12 at noon, before visiting New Mexico for a doubleheader on Sunday, Oct. 19 in Albuquerque (12 p.m. & 2:30 p.m.). 

UTEP wraps up its fall slate back at home with a doubleheader against Pima Community College on Saturday, Oct. 25 (3 p.m. & 5:30 p.m.). 

All home games will be played at the Helen of Troy Softball Complex. Admission to fall home events is free for all fans.
