EL PASO, Texas– The UTEP women's golf team will compete in its second tournament of the season on Monday and Tuesday at the inaugural Lady Clerico in Bartlesville, Okla. Oral Roberts will serve as the host institution.
Live scoring can be followed on Scoreboard. The Miners will compete against host Oral Roberts, UTRGV, Northern Colorado, Drake, Abilene Christian, Northern Iowa, Lamar, Southern Miss, East Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Houston Christian and SFA.
The tournament is set for Hillcrest Country Club (par 72, 6,662 yards). Round one begins Monday at 7 a.m. MT/8 a.m. CT, followed by the second round later in the day. The final round tees off Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. MT/8:30 a.m. CT with a shotgun start. The opening two rounds will be played in a tee-time format.
Making the trip for UTEP are Blanca Yrizar, Atikan Cherdchoo, Luciana Origel, Nichapas Thawinwan and Paige Wood.
The Miners are coming off a 14th-place finish at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, where Yrizar tied for 26th with a (74-73-73—223) and Cherdchoo tied for 31st with a (76-76-75— 224). Cherdchoo recorded eight birdies.
