UTEP Women’s Golf to Open 2025-26 Season at UNM’s Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational Sept. 8-9

EL PASO – UTEP women's golf will tee off the new campaign at New Mexico's Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M., on the UNM Championship Course (par 72 | 6,354 yards) on Monday and Tuesday.

The first two rounds will tee off Monday at 7:30 a.m. MDT with a shotgun start. The final round will be on Tuesday.

Making the trip for the Miners are Blanca Yrizar, Luciana Origel, Paige Wood, Atikan Cherdchoo and Amelia Fridlund. Nichapas Thawinwan and Taline Kyoumjian will compete as individuals. Cherdchoo, Fridlund, Wood and Yrizar will make their UTEP debuts.

The Miners will compete against host New Mexico, BYU, Cal Poly, Cal State Fullerton, Fresno State, Long Beach State, Mercer, Montana State, Northern Arizona, Sacramento State, South Alabama, Southern Miss, UNLV and Washington State.
