Round 1/2 Results
HOLLISTER, Mo. – The UTEP women's golf team stands fourth after 36 holes at the Ozarks National Invitational, carding a 36-over-par 612 (312-300) Monday at Ozarks National Golf Course. The Miners trimmed 12 strokes off their opening-round score in round two and sit just one shot out of the top three heading into Wednesday's final round.
Freshman
Blanca Yrizar led the way for UTEP and is tied for fourth at 3-over-par 147 (78-69). Yrizar surged up 14 spots on the leaderboard in round two behind her 3-under 69 and is in position to secure her second straight top-10 finish. She enters the final round just one stroke outside the top three.
Luciana Origel is tied for 14th at 9-over-par 153 (76-77), while
Atikan Cherdchoo sits 23rd at 11-over-par 155 (78-77).
Taline Kyoumjian moved up eight spots into a tie for 26th at 13-over-par 157 (80-77), and
Amelia Fridlund climbed four spots to tie for 34th at 14-over-par 158 (81-77).
UTEP will look to continue its climb up the standings in the final round, set for an 8 a.m. MT / 9 a.m. CT start. Live scoring will be available on
