LAS VEGAS – The Mountain West today announced the launch of MW+, its new direct-to-consumer digital subscription platform, powered by Kiswe, a leading streaming technology and services company. The platform marks a significant step forward in the Conference's digital evolution, delivering expanded access to live and on-demand content, while creating new opportunities for fan engagement and revenue generation for member institutions. Each subscription purchased by Miner fans through UTEP's dedicated page will directly support the institution, creating a scalable and sustainable revenue opportunity aligned with fan engagement.

Built to bring fans closer to the action than ever before, MW+ will serve as the dedicated home for UTEP's live events, original programming, and on-demand content. Through its partnership with Kiswe, the Conference is introducing a modern, interactive viewing experience designed for Miner Nation – one that is flexible, accessible, and built for scale.

MW+ will provide:
  • Live streaming coverage of UTEP events not available through traditional broadcast partners.
  • Dedicated landing pages for each member school.
  • On-demand replays and original content spotlighting student-athletes, programs, and Conference initiatives, while providing new opportunities for student-athletes to elevate their personal brands and showcase their own content.
  • Interactive viewing experiences, including real-time engagement tools.
  • A technology platform that enables MW+ to deliver scalable, high-quality streams while integrating engagement features that bring fans closer to the action.

MW+ will offer an annual subscription for $79.99 and a monthly subscription for $10.99.
To celebrate the launch, the Conference will offer a limited-time early adopter promotion. Fans who purchase an annual subscription in July, August, and September will receive a $67.99 rate, a 15 percent discount off the standard annual price.

"We're excited about the launch of MW+, where Miner fans can follow their favorite teams as we launch an exciting new era in the Mountain West. MW+ will provide live game coverage and inside looks at all 16 UTEP sports programs," UTEP Vice President and Director of Athletics Jim Senter said. "When you sign up, be sure to select UTEP as your favorite team since the bulk of the subscription fees will be coming back to our department, providing us with the necessary resources to provide elite experiences for our student-athletes and field championship-caliber squads. Go, Miners!"

The launch of MW+ underscores the Conference's commitment to innovation, visibility, and long-term sustainability. By owning and operating its own platform, the Mountain West is positioning itself – and its member schools – for continued growth in an evolving media landscape.

Fans can watch MW+ worldwide on a variety of platforms and devices, including desktop and mobile web browsers, Apple and Android mobile devices, and streaming devices such as Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Amazon Prime Channels (coming soon), and more.

ABOUT THE MOUNTAIN WEST
Since its founding in 1999, the Mountain West has remained steadfast in its commitment to excellence in intercollegiate athletics while advancing the academic missions of its member institutions. Central to that mission is the holistic development of our student-athletes – championing their success not only in competition but also in the classroom and in their personal growth. Beginning with the 2026-27 season, the Mountain West will feature a comprehensive membership model that brings together full-time, all-sport institutions alongside select sport-specific members. The Conference's all-sport members – United States Air Force Academy; University of Hawai'i at Mānoa; University of Nevada, Reno; University of Nevada, Las Vegas; University of New Mexico; San José University; The University of Texas at El Paso; and University of Wyoming- will compete across the full Mountain West portfolio, including football. University of California, Davis and Grand Canyon University will join as all-sport members outside of football, while Colorado College (women's soccer), North Dakota State University (football), Northern Illinois University (football and women's gymnastics), and Utah Tech University (baseball and men's soccer) will compete as affiliate members in designated sports.
