UTEP Men’s Golf Opens Spring Season at the Arizona Intercollegiate Jan. 24

EL PASO – The UTEP men's golf team is set to tee off the spring season at the Arizona Intercollegiate at the Tucson Country Club (par 72 – 7,022 yards) beginning on Monday, Jan. 24. 
 
The Miners will play 36 holes on Monday starting at 8 a.m. PT/9 MT and will finish the tournament with 18 holes on Tuesday. Live results will be available here. 
 
UTEP will compete against host Arizona, Arkansas, Augusta, BYU, Cal, Duke, Iowa State, Loyola Marymount, New Mexico, NM State, San Francisco, Santa Clara and Saint Mary's (CA).
 
Making the trip for the Miners are Danny Daniels, Greg Holmes, Marcus Khaw, Jacob Presutti and Greg Yellin.
 
During the fall, Holmes shot an average of 74.5 in four tournaments, Daniels 74.0 in two tournaments, Khaw 72.8 in four tournaments, Presutti 73.7 in three tournaments and Yellin 73.2 in four tournaments.
