EL PASO - In a historic moment for UTEP Beach Volleyball, the Miners hosted Trinidad State College in their first-ever home match on Saturday at the UTEP Rec Center sand courts. The vibrant atmosphere was charged with excitement as fans from both schools gathered to witness and celebrate this landmark occasion.
UTEP delivered a commanding performance and swept the Trojans in both matches with a resounding 5-0 victory. While Trinidad State fought valiantly, managing to claim one set on court five during the afternoon flights, the Miners ultimately emerged victorious, etching a memorable chapter in UTEP Beach Volleyball history.
