EL PASO, Texas – Five members of the UTEP soccer program (
Eve Barry,
Ashlee Mora,
Ashlyn Neireiter Olivia Roskos and
Maya Vitoria) all earned placement on the 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Soccer team, selected by College Sports Communicators, the organization announced on Tuesday.
To qualify, student-athletes must be key contributors on the pitch. Furthermore, a cumulative GPA of 3.50 is required to be considered.
Barry boasts a perfect 4.0 GPA while pursuing a degree in multidisciplinary studies. She started 12 of 17 matches, tying for second on the squad in goals (two) and third in points (four). The senior had a match winner in a thrilling 1-0 triumph at back-to-back defending Mountain West Conference champions Boise State (9/7).
Mora sports a sensational 3.89 GPA while majoring in kinesiology. She was a key contributor on the back line who started all 15 contests she appeared in, helping UTEP record five shutouts. She got involved offensively as well with a pair of assists (tied second on team).
Neireiter, a co-captain of the squad, has a stellar 3.64 GPA while studying construction engineering. She was one of three Miners to start all 17 games. She played in all but eight minutes (1,522 out of 1,530) on the season and helped key the defense. Neireiter added a game-winning goal on a header in the 1-0 vanquishing of Tarleton State (8/28).
Roskos features an impressive 3.52 GPA while majoring in biomedical sciences. She was also one of three UTEP players to start every tilt of the year. Her efforts helped the Orange and Blue on every part of the pitch, and she shared second on the unit for assists with two.
Vitoria has registered a 3.70 GPA while pursuing her degree in biomedical sciences. She played in 16 contests, including 10 starts, while setting the tone with a physical brand of soccer. That was particularly evident with her patented slide tackles.
