UTEP Track & Field Set to Compete in 11 Events at the 2025 NCAA West First Round in College Station, Texas, May 28-31

ENTRIES: MEN | WOMEN

EL PASO – The NCAA announced the entries for the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field West First Round on Thursday. UTEP will send 13 student-athletes to compete in 11 events at E.B. Cushing Stadium in College Station, Texas, May 28-31.

Competing for the women are Loubna Benhadja (4x4, 400H), Chinique Brown (4x4 [4x1 alternate]), Praise Djoma (triple jump), Samahri Foster (4x4), Denae McFarlane (4x1), Esther Osisike (discus), Alla Parnov (pole vault), Marissa Simpson (200, 4x1, 100H), Addison Stricklin (4x1), Rejoice Sule (100, 200, 4x1, 4x4) and Princess Uche (4x4).

Going for the men's side are Jakub Belik (high jump) and Jordani Woodley (110H).

The events begin on Wednesday, May 28, at 6 p.m. CT/5 MDT as Woodley will compete in the 110-meter hurdles first round. Belik will leap in the high jump semifinal on Friday, May 30, at 3:30 p.m. CT/2:30 MDT.

Simpson will get things started for the ladies on Thursday, May 29, in the 100-meter hurdles at 6 p.m. CT/5 MDT. Also on Thursday, Sule will compete in the 100-meter dash first round (7 p.m. CT/6 MDT) and the 200-meter dash first round (8:45 p.m. CT/7:45 MDT). Benhadja will see action in the 400-meter hurdles first round at 8:20 p.m. CT/7:20 MDT. Parnov will compete in the pole vault semifinal at 5:30 p.m. CT/4:30 MDT. Osisike will see action in the discus first round on Saturday, May 31, at 1 p.m. CT/Noon MDT. Also on Saturday, the 4x100-meter (5 p.m. CT/4 MDT) and 4x400-meter relay teams (8:45 p.m. CT/7:45 MDT) will compete in the quarterfinals.

The top 48 student-athletes in their respective events advance to the first round; the top 24 relay teams advance.
