BOBCAT INVITATIONAL RECAP
Samahri Foster clocked in a personal-best 1:01.56 in the women's 400-meter hurdles.

Four Miners set their PRs in the men's 200-meter dash. Munoz, who set a PR in the 100 in Austin earlier in the day, clocked in a 21.09 (1.8) and placed 11th overall of 48 competitors. Mathew Polk turned in a 21.22 (3.4), Sebastian Avena ran a 21.33 (3.4), and Joshua Ford ran a 21.74 (3.6).

"It was a long day, but a very successful one for our group. We had 10 personal best performances between the Texas Relays and the Bobcat Invite, which is a great sign of the progress we're making. Most of those came from our sprints, hurdles, and jumps groups, and it was great to see them step up and compete at a high level," first-year UTEP head coach Francesca Green said. "As we continue to challenge our athletes and push their limits, they're responding the right way and rising to that challenge. Elias had an outstanding day with two personal bests in the 100 meters (10.36) and the 200 meters (21.09), which really highlights the direction we're heading. We have one more day of competition tomorrow at both the Texas Relays and the Bobcat Invite, and we're looking forward to finishing the weekend strong."
